‘Somewhere to Be Found’ Field Trip

Thursday, July 30, 2015, 5:30–7pm
Mt. Auburn, Cincinnati, OH

For our second and final Cincinnati Field Trip, we explored the steps in and around Mt. Auburn. We paid special attention to the lizards in the neighborhood, announcing sightings with noise-making devices. Also interesting within this walk were several rogue sidewalk markers pressed by municipal workers into the concrete. Games were played (one including odd-shaped balls, the other a version of charades), note was taken of an architectural set piece in the 1993 movie Airborne, and we concluded the Field Trip at Milton’s Prospect Hill Tavern with cold refreshments.
